Best site ever for today
This is so great. Kristy alerted me to the Miniature Zoo during her quest for the elusive rubber naked mole rat. She didn't find the RNMR yet, but that's okay, because this site is insane.
My favorites are the Australopithecus, the echidna, and the trilobite.
Anyhow, I e-mailed the Mini Zoo to see if they knew where I could get a rubber naked mole rat, but if that fails and no one finds anything by the end of the day, I'm giving up, packing it in, cutting my losses, washing my hands of this whole affair. Et cetera. For real.
I have seriously spent way too much time on this search. But I'm an INFORMATION PROFESSIONAL! I can find out all kinds of esoteric information about mathematicians, but I can't find a stupid rubber naked mole rat? Very frustrating.
The good news is I closed a "gag gifts" site featuring such classics as rubber poop, rubber chickens, and rubber rats (not naked mole rats, though) right before the director of my department popped in. Excellent slacking instincts if I do say so myself...

I've been searching to, to no avail. I find it hysterical that googling the phrase "rubber naked mole rat", in quotes, results in only your page.
